Operational Expenses of the Executive committee:
$29,000.00 us dollars per year.
Construction & reconstruction of Churches’ building:
1 church is in need of purchasing a land for the church building. Land price $20,000.00 “twenty thousand us dollars for 600 square feet”. The chuch will be built in the community of New Jerusalen, where there are three Haitian congragetions with no church building. The 3 Haitian congregations will then have a place to worship together as one. Services will also be given in Spanish for the Spanish speaking community. The following centers will be created to serve the community of New Jerusalen: Dispensary, Water plant “providing purified water”, Game Room where children will come to play and also receive bible instructions. The Game Room will be also used to teach Spanish to Haitians and Haitian Creole to Dominicans.
5 churches are in need of reconstruction and repair of their buildings.
Haitian Creole Translation:
BCO into Haitian Creole: The creole version must be ready before August 29th, 2009, that’s when we’ll travel to Haiti to meet with 13 churches that are interested in being part of the IRD. Current Haitian Leaders need the Haitian Creole version as well. $1800.00 US dollars.
Confessions into Haitian Creole: The creole version must be ready before August 29th, 2009, that’s when we’ll travel to Haiti to meet with 13 churches that are interested in being part of the IRD. Current Haitian Leaders need the Haitian Creole version for the other confessions as well. Belhar Confession is already available in Haitian Creole language. $1,550.00 US dollars.
IRD’s Website in Haitian Creole: The contents of IRD’s website need to be translated into Haitian Creole language. The creole version must be ready before August 29th, 2009, that’s when we’ll travel to Haiti to meet with 13 churches that are interested in being part of the IRD. Current Haitian Leaders need the Haitian Creole version as well. $900.00 US dollars
Mission Trip to Haiti August 29th, 2009:
Tickets, lodging and transportation: The IRD will be meeting with 13 churches in Haiti that are very interested in becoming part of the IRD/RCA mission. There is a delegation of 5 members that will be meeting in Haiti. Yeral Ogando, Lazard Medilien, Andres Serrano, Kenneth Bradsell & Paste Gevelon.
Classes’ creation in Haiti: The IRD will create 2 or 3 classes in Haiti to cover the whole island. The classes will work in coordination with the IRD/RCA team. A department for Haitian Ministries will be created in the DR to work with both sides of the island along with the Dominican churches and leaders.
Department of Mission and/or Church planters:
New Mission Fields: 2009 is the year to train the church planters in the confessions, BCO, church planting strategies, basic theological education in order to fully launch them at the beginning of 2010.
Church planter’s support: Some of our churches currenty needs support in the following areas: music equipment such as piano, guitar, drums, tamborine; benches, microphones, speakerphones.
Current churches & mission field’s development: we currently have 21 churches and 7 mission fields in need of development, growth’s strategies, revitalization, multiplication, discipleship and leadership.
